Experience
Math is my passion and I enjoy sharing it with other people. I have experience working with students as young as third grade all the way up to adults and love working with any age group. The past four years have been spent helping seventh and eighth graders with pre-algebra all the way through honors level algebra. I have my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, emphasis on math. During my final year in school, I also worked as a student teacher, which gave me valuable experience in the classroom. My years of higher education and my previous tutoring experience have led me to where I am now. I hope to tutor as many students as possible! I am looking forward to helping people in any way possible. I find tutoring to be very rewarding. My favorite moments are those when a student finally gets something that they struggled so long to understand. It's like a light goes on and they can't contain their excitement. When a student first understands something, the excitement is contagious! One of the best feelings as a teacher is sharing those moments with so many students. I am looking forward to helping many new people and getting to know each one personally!
