My educational background includes bachelor's degrees from the University of South Florida in Biomedical Sciences and Finance, minoring in International Business. I am proud to say that I was in the Honors College while at the university. During my time at school, I worked with an Upward Bound program, where I gained experience preparing students of various ages and backgrounds for college. In addition, I used my knowledge of the Spanish language on mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, where I tutored elementary school students. I am a thoughtful and patient tutor, and I aim to simplify difficult concepts into easily understood information. I enjoy seeing the sense of accomplishment my students gain when they finally understand challenging material and discover that learning can be fun. It is extremely rewarding to watch my students excel in school.My favorite subjects to tutor are biology and chemistry, but I can also tutor algebra, geometry, statistics, reading, writing, history, finance, geography, social studies, and various honors and AP classes. I also enjoy assisting students with test prep for tests like the SAT and GRE, and writing college essays. I find enjoyment working with students of all ages!In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and sports.
